Robbie wrestled for Plainview High School from 1995-1998. 

He was a four time State qualifier and finally placed 3rd his senior year.  Robbie lost his life in 2018.  This award is in remembrance of the qualities he displayed while wrestling for Plainview; perseverance, hard work, tenacity, humble in victory, gracious in defeat, and great attitude toward all teammates and coaches.  This award is not for the most talented or successful wrestler of the season.  It is for the wrestler who had the best attitude in practice and matches throughout the season.  This award is voted on by teammates and coaches.
